Great Weather.....If You're On Vacation In Miami

The weather has been unfavorable, however, for hunting -- warm (mid-70's) and blustery. The rut is trying to start -- the bucks are starting to move does -- but the temps are not conducive for a lot of activity during shooting times.

Most hunters have seen deer this week, mostly at a distance. Don took a doe on Monday afternoon (105 pounds dressed). He also took another doe down in the field this morning (no weight on that yet). Rich also shot a doe this morning but the track was unsuccessful -- the shot was most likely low and back.

Weather is supposed to cool tonight after predicted thunderstorms, with the rest of the week much cooler with lows around freezing at night. High winds are expected through tomorrow, which will make for tough hunting. Friday looks to be the best hunting day of the week.
